The Young Swell Stretched Canvas Print
The young swell. 19th century print of a tobacco label showing a head-and-shoulders portrait of a dog dressed as a man, facing front, wearing monocle, with a bottle of champagne, a pipe, and a bag of pipe tobacco in the foreground. Hatch and Co., 218 Broadway, Herald Building, N.Y. In the full advertising image we can see a pipe! It's a strange way to advertise tobacco but the painting is fine! I liked this canvas. It's unusual!
